Eva is a textile weaver based at Cockpit Studios in Bloomsbury. A curiosity with upcycling formed her design concept of reworking sentimental materials into a woven piece. Her clients will often have a textile that has no practical use but holds emotional significance. Eva analyses these pre-loved materials, their colours and patterns informing her decisions on yarn, colour proportions and woven structure. Cutting the material into ribbons, she then uses her loom to weave the clients fabric into a vibrant wall-hanging, preserving memories and bringing warmth into a room.
Eva graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2018 and is now based at Cockpit Studios.
