About

My inspiration comes from the pre-loved fabrics that I find in vintage and second hand shops. On my loom I weave fragments of these upcycled materials into abstract patterns and structures.

Eva's aim as a designer is to create one of a kind statement pieces that have as little impact on the environment as possible. Her use of pre-loved materials results in a unique product retaining memories and associations from the past.

Eva's design process is led by the upcycling of textiles and yarns she finds by chance, giving her work an element of spontaneity and fun. She arranges the materials she has collected into different groups, working out combinations of colours and textures for an eye-catching design.

Eva graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2018 and is now based at Cockpit Studios.
